Brian is probably best remembered around these parts as a regular organist at Big Bob's Pipe Dream in Burien from 1975 to 1978. He also played occasionally at Pizza & Pipes restaurants in 1978 to 1979, and was a regular organist at Greenwood and Bellevue Pizza & Pipes from 1981 to 1988.

Lesser known is that he first played a theatre organ at the Mt. Baker Theatre in Bellingham in 1965. The next year he worked on the Lincoln Theatre organ in Mt. Vernon, trying to restore it from years of neglect and water damage. His first real concert was on that instrument in 1966 for the (then) ATOE. |
While in the Navy and stationed in Hawaii, he had the opportunity to play both the Princess and the Waikiki Theatres' Robert Mortons. Upon his return, he worked on and played the Oaks Park (Portland) 18 rank Wurlitzer from 1970-1975. He worked in Seattle for Balcom & Vaughan from 1981-1987. |

In 1989, Brian moved to Yakima and has found a new direction for his life--he lives and works at the Yakima Union Gospel Mission, where he does all the publishing work--newsletters, photography, offset printing and plays the piano for chapel services. |

It's great to welcome Brian back to our area and we look forward to hearing him perform once again!
