Ivan Ditmar at the 5/21 Vaughn Wurlitzer, Hollywood CA, date unknown
 
Ivan Ditmar lived in Southern California but performed frequently in the Northwest. He was staff organist at the CBS outlet in Hollywood, radio station KNX.
 
Ivan was owner of the former Ballard Bagdad Theatre Wurlitzer. This instrument was stored in the basement of Seattle's Rollerbowl Rink and was lost in a tragic 1951 fire. This same fire claimed three other instruments.
 
Ivan made several recordings including a Christmas album:
