According to ATOS member Michael Gillette of Eugene Oregon, Walter Stewart, full name Walter Stewart Ash, was a popular Portland organist who relieved Cecil Teague as a KOIN Radio Klocker. Walter's organ playing career spanned some thirty years beginning with his first theatre playing encounter at the Rex Theatre in Eugene in 1918.
