Glenn Shelley was a popular Portland-area performer. He opened the Oriental Theatre in 1927 and was heard for years over Radio Station KGW-KEX. Mr. Shelley was also very influential in the specification of many of the medium-to-larger organs ordered for the state of Oregon.

According to his granddaughter, Riki Strong, Glenn also played at the Capitol Theatre in Bend.
