These custom-made drawers are mahogany and poplar with mahogany veneer. They make use of 5V Lighted Thumb Pistons (LTPI) from Syndyne Corporation and Accuride 2132 10" ball bearing drawer slides available from Rockler Woodworking & Hardware and elsewhere. Data sheet here:

The slides feature a 1/2" side space, hold-in detent, lever disconnect and a 100 lb. load rating.
Drawer in extended position. Two-digit selectable counter at left is for setting the combination action memory level.
Drawer in retracted position. Lighted pistons turn off when the drawer is retracted.
Drawer retracts behind corbel. Pistons not visible when drawer is retracted.
