The Temple Theatre seats 1600. It was built in 1926 and has had no major rennovations since. The architect was A.J. Russell, designer of many buildings in the area. The theatre's original 2/9 Kimball organ is still installed and is original in all respects, being one of only five original installations in the State of Washington. Tacoma's Frank Chidester and the late Homer Johnson maintained the organ in excellent condition for many years.
