August 3, 1999 - Fire destroys Pizza & Pipes
 

This beautiful "Balaban" style Wurlitzer was originally installed in 1927 in the Paramount Theatre, Fort Wayne Indiana.

The organ was played daily starting in February of 1974.
 
On August 3, 1999, the restaurant was destroyed by fire. More information is available here.
 

The pipes were encased in glass in a large single chamber.
