Three-manual console of the Johnson residence organ

The Johnson residence organ is based on a two-manual Robert Morton originally installed in the Antlers (Indian) Theatre in Roseburg, Oregon. The organ was later acquired by Leonard Vernon of Astoria, Oregon. The Johnsons purchased the organ in 2001.

Installer Don Wallin & Merlyn Johnson in the chamber

Organ builder Don Wallin installed the Vernon instrument together with additional pipes, windchests, percussions and a new console to make a three-manual, 12 rank organ. Seven ranks of pipes were added, bringing the total to 19, as well as 20 digital classical ranks provided by Neil Jenson's Hauptwerk system.

The console is a reproduction three-manual Wurlitzer produced by Arndt Organ Supply and finished in black lacquer.

Following the orginal installation by Don Wallin, Ed and Patti Zollman have performed additional work bringing the organ to 21 ranks.
