The KHQ studio organ was installed in 1939 by Balcom & Vaughan and was based around a 2/6 Style D Wurlitzer (opus 792) originally from Seattle's Venetian (Olympic) Theatre.

In 1963, the instrument found its way back to Seattle and was installed in the Kirkland residence of Ernie Manly.
