St. James Episcopal Church had a 2/5 Kimball (KPO 6826) originally from the Dream Theatre, also in Sedro Woolley. The organ was moved to the church in 1946.

According to Jim Stettner, the organ had five ranks: Trumpet, Tibia Clausa, Violin, Vox Humana, and Flute.

According to the church website, "In 2010 a structural analysis of the church was conducted. At that time the recommendation was to vacate the building until its safety and stability could be evaluated further. Regrettably, the final assessment was made to condemn the building and relocate the congregation. The congregation is now worshipping at the Central United Methodist Church."

In the Summer of 2014, Ross Marshall of Anacortes, Washington acquired the instrument. Parts were advertised on the eBay Internet auction site in August 2014.
