Arnold Leverenz was opening concert organist and Eddie Zollman played the first run of movies. According to Ed, the theatre manager wanted a "BIG" look. Sandy Balcom sold them a 3-manual 9-rank Kimball with a double bolster console that had the look of 24 or 25 ranks!

In 1930, Balcom & Vaughan moved the organ to Portland's Benson High School where it was combined with several straight ranks to make a 3/24.

More recently, the organ was moved to Portland's
Cleveland High School where it still resides.
