The Skateland Rink opened in 1941.

According to the Judd Walton Opus List, the Skateland Wurlitzer was originally shipped in August 1921 to the San Francisco Wurlitzer store/warehouse. It was a Style 170, opus #451. In 1922, the organ was sold to the Ellensburg Theatre in Ellensburg, Washington.

In 1932, the organ was moved to Seattle's Playland Amusement Park Skating Rink.

According to Ray Whelpley, in 1956, Balcom & Vaughan moved the organ to Everett's Skateland Rink and a three-manual console was added. This disagrees with the Balcom & Vaughan opus lists showing a two-manual instrument being installed in 1943.

In 1961, the property changed ownership and was renamed Everett Rollerfair.

In 1965, the instrument was purchased by Ray & Muriel Whelpley of Bellevue, Washington.
