Cosmopolitan Theatre, February 2002

Following donation of a complete three-manual Kimball instrument to the Everett Theatre, the two-manual Kimball console from Seattle's Ridgemont Theatre and other components previously planned for the Everett were moved a few blocks away to the newly opened Cosmopolitan Theatre operated by Marc Silver. The project was sponsored by the National Pipe Organ Trust.

The core of this instrument was originally installed in Seattle's Capitol Theatre and then the Palomar Theatre. Later, Jim Collier had it installed in his Mill Creek barn-studio.

Unfortunately, the organ installation was never completed. In December 2001, the City of Everett gave notice to several businesses in the 1900 block of Hewitt Ave. to vacate the premises. The organ sold for parts with some components being abandonded in the building.
