Seattle Post-Intelligencer Sunday Oct 25, 1981. Russ Evans collection.   The above article was published in the Seattle PI's "Northwest People" Sunday extra, in the recurring "My Hobby" section.   Interestingly, Bruce was brother to Carl Kehret who was very active in the local AMICA (Automated Musical Instrument Collectors Association) chapter. In the article, Bruce mentions that Carl insprired him to get the Wurlitzer. It is not known if Bruce ever got the instrument playing or what its current status is.   The article mentions that Kehret's Wurlitzer came from "an Ellenburg movie palace back in 1925" but this does not reconcile with established opus lists and PSTOS records.   About this site © PSTOS, 1998-2026
