The D&R Theatre originally had a 2/8 Kimball (opus 6735) installed in 1923. The theatre seated 1,000.
In 1944, Balcom & Vaughan moved the organ to Portland's Ice Arena Rink. The instrument later went to a party in Lower Alameda and was installed by Cleo DeAutrey. It was later purchased in the late 1960's by Dave Markworth.
 Editor's note: The Junchen opus lists for Balcom & Vaughan incorrectly name this theatre the "T&D Theatre." The correct name is "D&R."

This console originally was from a pipe organ installation at a theatre in Aberdeen, Washington. I bought it from a party who replaced it with a classic console for his classic pipe organ project. My intent was to retrofit the console with Rodgers Organ circuitry.
Now I need the space in my train room for a higher priority project.
This beautiful console is a wonderful conservation piece, even if it never gets played as a musical instrument, but it has the potential to become something great.
The console is basically empty of the original relays and wire harnesses. The keyboards and pedalboard have their original contacts in good condition. The expression/chresendo pedals are replacements and in like new condition. Console is complete with pedal board and dogleg bench. Keyboards are in very good condition.
This console could be MIDI'ed with minimum time and effort and become the "King of Instruments" one more time.
