The Giesbrecht residence instrument was based around a 2/5 Robert Morton from the Rialto Theatre in Medford Oregon. According to Dr. Giesbrecht, the organ was moved from the theatre in 1950 to the Apostolic Faith Church** also in Medford. In 1980, he purchased the organ from the church and sold the original console to Dale Haskin of Portland.

Dr. Giesbrecht built a new three manual console with 300 stops! Numerous MIDI stops were added along with a custom computer-controlled relay system. The console had unique push-on, push-off tabs with an indicator light above each.

In Fall 2001, the instrument was purchased by Bob MacNeur of Portland.

** The Judd Walton Wurlitzer opus lists indicate that a Style 135B Wurlitzer (opus #349) originally from Medford's Page Theatre went to this church. It's possible that Dr. Giesbrecht's recollection is incorrect or that the Wurlitzer was installed prior to the Morton.
