Bill Blunk in the chamber |
This large 5/24 Marr & Colton was owned by Bill Blunk. The instrument was originally installed in the Rochester Theatre, Rochester, New York and was the only five manual organ built by Marr & Colton. In 1961, Bill bought the organ and moved it to Astoria, Oregon where it was installed in the Viking Rink there. The console was refinished at this time.

During the Fall of 1965, Bill moved the organ to Portland where it was installed in a private studio which he rented. The instrument was featured at the 1966 ATOE Annual Meeting in Portland.

The organ was later moved to Sherwood, Oregon and installed in the Sherwood (Robin Hood) Theatre there. |
