The McDonald Theatre originally had a Style H "Special" Wurlitzer (opus 1003) installed in 1925.

In 1955, the organ was donated to Willamette University in Salem. It was installed in the University Auditorium by Cleo DeAutrey. According to Bob Rickett, it was poorly installed and eventually sold in 1969 to Eddie Lippert of Spokane who installed it correctly in his home.
