The New Orpheum Theatre opened in August 1911 at 69-71 W. Park St. An earlier Orpheum Theatre operated at 27 W. Park. St.

None of the pipe organ databases or opus lists include a pipe organ for the Butte Orpheum Theatre, but there were several news articles from Butte and nearby Anaconda in the 1911-1913 timeframe that mention a pipe organ at the Orpheum. Unfortunately no details about the instrument manufacturer or specification are provided.

News item in The Butte Inter Mountain November 25, 1911 announcing the plan by the Casto brothers, owners of the New Orpheum, to "install a $5,000 pipe organ."

News item in The Anaconda Standard June 27, 1913 describes the use of pipe organs in the Butte Orpheum, American, and Ansonia Theatres.
