Mr. Helgesen started his collection of photos and facts about Northwest historic theatres during the vaudeville days when on tour of the Orpheum and Pantages circuit as a performer. He managed to look over from ceiling to cellar every theatre in which he appeared. He also managed to collect a few unique photos which were promptly placed in special volumes. His collection was enormous and was generously been made available to PSTOS.
