The Ellensburg Theatre was previously an opera house. A 2/5 Wurlitzer opus 451 was installed in 1922. The organ was originally shipped to the San Francisco Wurlitzer store/warehouse in 1921.

Tex Frasier was organist at the Ellensburg in 1922.

In 1938, Balcom & Vaughan moved the organ to Seattle's Playland Amusement Park Skating Rink. In 1943, the organ was moved again to the Rollerfair Rink in Everett.

The instrument is now owned by Ray & Muriel Whelpley of Bellevue, Washington.
